What is Human Design?
Human Design is a spiritual framework for self-reflection. It combines traditions including astrology, the I Ching, Kabbalah and the chakra system. Its starting point is a birth-data chart called a BodyGraph.
How do I find my Human Design type?
Create a chart using your birth date, an accurate birth time and birthplace. Your type is listed in the result. A personality quiz or zodiac sign does not determine it.
Are there four or five Human Design types?
The original framework has four main types, with Manifesting Generators included in the Generator group. Many introductions, including Joy, describe that subgroup separately as a fifth type.
Is the chart free?
You can create your chart for free in Joy. The web flow currently requires an account. Additional explanations and features depend on your plan.
What if I do not know my birth time?
An uncertain birth time makes parts of the result uncertain. Look for a documented time where possible and treat results from estimated times as provisional.
Is Human Design a scientific personality test?
We use it as a spiritual reflection tool. Calculating astronomical positions and interpreting them are different things. A BodyGraph is not a psychological or medical diagnosis and does not determine your future.
