How Joy searches
Two halves. One channel.
In Human Design a channel only forms when both of its gates are active. If you carry just one, the channel stays open. Joy looks for the person who carries exactly the other one, and weighs the centers that matter for work, love or friendship.

Work, love, friendship: one area or all three. Joy only searches there, and you decide where the other person may live: nearby, in your language or worldwide.

One sentence about you, a photo of yourself, then press and hold. Your signal follows the moon cycle and ends at a new moon. You can see the exact end date in your search. When it ends, you can renew it.

Instantly with everyone searching right now, then with every new chart. When someone fits exactly, Joy tells you both.

First you see your charts and what only exists between you. If you both say yes, you see each other’s faces and Joy introduces you.

Is Joy Connect a dating app?
Not only. Joy searches for work, love or friendship, depending on what you’re open to. There’s no swiping and no catalog: Joy only gets in touch when a chart truly completes yours.
What does Joy Connect cost?
The search is free and follows the moon cycle. Your signal ends at a new moon, after at least two weeks. You can see the exact end date in your search and renew your signal once it ends. With Premium, you can also see who came close, say hello and send a photo request.
Why do I need a photo?
Joy only searches for people with a photo of themselves. It stays hidden until you both say yes or you choose to show it earlier in response to a photo request. While Joy searches, you can replace your photo. To delete it, pause the search first.
What does the other person see of me?
First your chart, your first name, your sentence and, if you want, your age and your city. The other person sees your photo when you both say yes or you choose to show it earlier in response to a photo request. Birth time, birthplace and last name always stay private.
How fast will Joy find someone?
That can’t be promised: compatible matches are rare, and Joy finds at most one per area each moon cycle. Share your wanted card to speed it up. Maybe someone around you carries exactly the gates you’re missing.
Can I use Joy Connect in the browser?
Yes. You can use Joy Connect directly in the browser, from your search to the chat. If you don’t have a chart yet, you create it as you get started. In the Joy app, you also get push notifications as soon as Joy finds someone.
What happens if I say no?
The match ends without a reason given, and Joy keeps searching for both of you. If nobody answers, the window closes by itself after 72 hours.
